Vetta 2 as Power Amp

Is there a way to use only the power amp and bypass the amp/effects on the Vetta 2? My brother will be letting me use his Axe-fx while he is away on vacation and I wanted to try it out with the power amp on my Vetta Combo.

Thanks.

    Thanks.

Yes - you  can simply plug directly into the FX RETURN jack which bypasses all front end setting and controls.  You'll just have the power amp and the Master Volume knob should control the overall volume coming from the Vetta only.

If it does not work by simply plugging in, please check out your ROUTING settings and OUTPUT settings.  You night have some thing set to change how the FX loop works and just need to make a few adjustments to get it to just access the power amp section directly.

I hope this helps and best of luck,

    Neal

... in addition to Neal's suggestion you might need to connect 2 "dummy" jacks to the FX SENDS to "activate" the FX RETURNS to use the power amp of your Vetta ...

    Cheers,
