XDT4 & XDT1

I have just recently purchased an X2 rackmounted system with an XDT4 transmitter, I already own an X2 Stomp type system with an XDT1 transmitter.  Is there any way to get the XDT1 transmitter to play nicely with the rackmounted X2 reciever??
