Variax 300 guitar - low volume on 2nd string - How do I fix it?

August 4, 2011:  I have a Variax 300 guitar that sounds and works great, other than the 2nd string is half the volume of the rest.  I sent it to Line 6 for service during warranty and they fixed it, but the problem is back and I'm out of warranty.  Can I go into the guitar and adjust the volume somewhere in the electronics?  Any suggestions?

    Tesla, there are several things that you can try; like the factory reflash, but you will need to have the Line 6 Workbench  or download the free software and use a line 6 USB / DVI device hooked up to your Variax 300 guitar via the DVI cable. You also might glean some insight  from my Community Group document posted at (Variax 300 Endangered Species Consortium) and at (Variax Guitars) titled: Variax 300 (bridge problems) solution.
