I just sold my computer, do i need to deautorize windows in my account?

I just sold my computer to save up for a mac, do i need to deautorize windows in my account? what is the computer authorization for anyway?

you should certainly de-authorize if you never intend to see it again....
the authorization just allows you to use purchased licenses on the machine without having your line6 device plugged in.

    yeah it's a pretty nice feature... but one note, is that it only works with licenses you paid extra for...
    meaning if your line6 interface came with a free upgrade, you need the interface plugged in or it won't work...
    
    in that instance the license belongs to the interface....
    you buy it seperately and the license belongs to your user account...
    which allows you to login with the license manager and use it without the interface attached.

      I remember reading that. i really only use the high gain metal pack that i bought so ill still be in good shape thanks a ton!
