Buying 2nd-hand - Can I re-register my purchase?

Hi Line 6-fans

I have a question for you.

I am just about to buy a used/2nd-hand Line 6 Pod HD500 - The seller has allready registrated the product. Will I be able to re-register it? or can he somehow transfer the registration to my account?

have them log into their account, and go here: http://line6.com/account/registergear/
hit the remove button and you can register it without problem.
support can also help you if they faul to remove their registration if you have a receipt or other proof of purchase.

all the former owner needs to do is clicking on the 'remove' link in his user page http://line6.com/account/registergear/
