Relay G50 strap problems

Hello

I'm a proud new owner of the G50 and have been researching the subject of "how to not make the transmitter fall off your strap" for quite a while now.

I must say that I am at a loss.

I've looked all over the forums here and on the rest of the net, looked at the various pouches by Neotech, Levy's etc. , searched on ebay and nothing so far can give me a precise solution to the fact that the clip is simply not strong enough to hold the thing during a show.

I own 2 Levy's straps; both are 2 inches wide and made of polyester.

Does anyone have an idea?

Thanks in advance!

A pouch is the best answer and if it is mission critical that it not come off most pro users have it duct taped to their straps.

Again-not precise enough...how come line 6 has no designated pouch?

what do you mean by "not precise enough"??

Gaffer tapping the transmitter to the strap is the preferred method of many 'pro' guitarists, so it is very much an acceptable solution in the industry.

I myself use a velcro strap that I have fixed to the G50 clip. I clip the transmitter to my guitar strap and the velcro strap wraps around and stops the transmitter from coming of the strap.

I clip the transmitter just above either the little adjustment piece or at the end of my strap closest to the bridge of the guitar. This means that the transmitter can't slide down the strap as it is held in position.

I don't perform circus tricks while playing guitar, but I do move around a bit and haven't had an issue yet. This is with both the G30 and G50 transmitters.
