Line 6 Bass Pod Xt Live - Can't connect to Gearbox ?

Hi guys!

 

I've just recently downloaded Gearbox, after a friend of mine strongly recommended it. He's had no problems connecting his POD to the software, but when I try to, I get this message:

 

"DSP failed to load model correctly. You may not hear the seleced model. Reason: (Code 80009008) MIDI In and/or Out devices are not available for the operation."

 

I've connected my POD to my computer with a normal USB cable through a normal USB port... I have no problems connecting my POD to softwares such as Reaper, etc...

 

I don't know what to do. :\
