How to delete original loop on HD500

Hi All,
I have been through the advanced guide and can't see how to completely clear the looper. The undo function will only take you back to the original loop being left in memory. I appreciate it will be deleted after the device is powered down and back on again but I assume there must be another way?
Thanks
Ben
You don't have to delete it. Just make sure the loop is not playing and record a new one over it if that's what you want.
Thanks Solid - I see what you mean. I am used to the Boss RC-2 where you do not have a seperate buttons for Stop then Record hence my confusion.
I forget where I read it, and it's not in the manual (just checked), but if you hold the tap tempo and turn on the tuner, that clears the looper.
Weird, but that is how I do it.
Hah! I was gonna say that you cannot clear it (not sure why you would want to btw) but Tex is spot on . I remember being annnoyed when I stopped to check my tuning while jamming and the looper got cleared down.
Tex has it.
Hi,
+1 to Texxxx,
Going in to the tuner screen will clear the looper on the HD500.
Thanks,
David

Thank you all for the info.
I would recommend if possible to allow for a loop to continue to play when you change to tuner and mute the output of the instrument, thus allowing a user to switch instruments durning a loop creation and also tune up. Then I would recommend that you make the loop clearing function work only when the loop is stopped and you hold down the Undo button for 3 seconds.
I think this would make the pedal fantastic for live solo jams and more.
Just a thought, hope the developers agree.
What do you all think?

I think that is a good suggestion. Please make your feature request here:
