I've read a lot of discussion there, but I found conflicting information.

I own a Pod X3 Pro with firmware 2.10

I set an empty effect with the Vocoder on tone1

I connect a Samson condenser microphone powered by phantom power and a guitar into the instrument, both on channel 1.

Vocoder effect parameters

input 100%

mix 100%

100% decay

mix 100%

The trim of the microphone is set to max.

If I put mic1 as input, i hear the voice effected, but playing the guitar i don't hear no modulation

If Iput gtr1 as input, i hear guitar effected, but I can't hear any voice.

I already tried to reinstall the firmware.

What can I do?
