Well, if there are any cons, my personal opinion is that they are by far outweighed by the pros. It was like getting a whole new pedalboard for me.

    Brutally honest:

    PROs:

    Hard Gate. It's about time.

New Presets. I'm not much of a stock preset guy, but the acoustic/vocal/bass patches really help me work with this thing, since I play acoustic, electric, bass and I sing. AND, the DT50 patches with only a touch of reverb are a great no-nonsense way to try out the amps.

Not sure why, but it really does feel like the tonal sweet spot is wider than it was.

    CONs:

I had to stop playing so I could update it.

I had to stop sleeping so I could play it.

PRO: Variable Input Impedance totally rocks! Turns out the hardware for this was always there...now you can let HD set this according to the first item in the chain or you can override it...Very useful for passive guitars...less so for an active guitar...but you can perfectly recreate the tone suck or a crybaby if you like...However, lowering the impedance for a guitar or patch where the brightness is getting hard to control is like having another EQ...It also changes the dynamics...It's a subtle but very useful feature IMHO...

CONS: I haven't noticed anything that changed that I did not like...

    I have an HD Bean...
