What i'm doing when I turn the spider IV on while pressing tap tempo?

which mode is that ?

Can it break the amp?

Can I connect a multieffect with that mode?

That is TEST mode. The DSP section is bypassed entirely and NONE of the knobs work.

Yes you can attach a multi-effect/amp modeller, however you must use the MASTER volume control on that unit to control your overall level.

Can it break the amp? Provided it is used sensibly, I would say not.
