Ok so line 6 monkey is running, licence manager is running, everything authorized, when i open riffworks 2 it wont activate.
hy should i suffer because of your protection BS? i paid for the product, may be next time i should just pirate it, i bet the crack actually works
i'm sure line6 will help you when they see your post...
but they haven't updated the line6 version of riffworks in some time...
you should consider upgrading to the full version, as the line6 version doesn't work on windows 7, or the latest mac OS
it's 30$
http://www.sonomawireworks.com/guide/index.php/Riffworks_Crossgrade
and it does get rid of the license manager part of the equation...
provides you with updates that work on windows 7 etc
gives you a handful of extra drummers, and will work with any interface including non-line6 interfaces.
just a suggestion...
the thing is, io managed to get it working last week for one day when i reinstalled my old purchased drummers, and now it's not working again even tho it's all activated, i am beggining to feel like a bit of a sheep having to crossgrade and pay for it every couple of years
i know it's a bit of a pain... they do give you some extras to ease the pain...
in addition to what i already listed they also give you a vst plugin version of some effects...
that last line6 version was 2.2 i believe and i think the standard version is now at 2.6
so there's likely quite a few fixes and enhancements that aren't immediately obvious...
even with the standard version there's bound to be an eventual upgrade charge to version 3 etc...
but riffworks is a great program, and it sounds like you've used it a bit more than i have (i have never used version 1) so you already know that.
i think the crossgrade is a great value, especially since line6 no longer sells/supports their version.
although i'm sure they will do what they can for you...
in any case, hope you find a path forward and get back to playing ![]()
thnx a lot, i use cubase nowa days for best perfomance and midi drum programming for unlimited drum freedom, but i begun to miss this quik demo sketching you get with riffworks and the drummer ideas that can make me think out of the box.
There's also a "free" version of Sonoma Wirework's Riffworks called T4 that doesn't cost. It should be compatible with the OS (Windows 7 and Mac OSX 10.7) of 2011.
hello
you need authorising your Guitarport to activate: if needed, de-authorise it with License Manager, then authorise it again
