Pod HD 300: Headphone and L/mono outputs

Hi, folks! New user here. I recently bought a POD HD 300. I do not have an amp, thus I listen to it using headphones. I have tried using it on an amp in the rehearsal studio that we rented, but only for a few hours. The manual says that for the Output Mode, I am supposed to use "Studio" when connecting direct to a board, and "Live" when connecting to an amp. However, I noticed that the "Studio" settings has a better sound when listening through my headphones. So, I am wondering: does the L/mono output faithfully reproduces the sound I am hearing in my headphones? Looking forward to your answers Thanks guys!

    Hi,

Use Studio to apply a direct signal complete with microphone and cabinet

    simulations to recorders and mixers.

    Use Live when connecting to

a guitar amplifier speaker combination for a natural more direct guitar

tone. (i.e. cab modeling is disabled)

When set to dual , you can send a direct signal through the

left outputs to a guitar amp and a studio quality mic and speaker

cabinet simulated signal through the right outputs to a mixer or

    recorder.

The latter is what i would recommend for your sessions. That way you can send a fully processed signal to the board (Left) and a signal that is suitable for your guitar amp (right) at the same time.

    Thanks,

    David
