Problem with my variax 700 acustic.

Hi, my variax 700 acustic work very well with the alimentation DI (line6),
but when I connect to the amplifier with a normal cable, the guitar does not work (the led is off, but the batteries are new! ).
What can have happened?

    We have heard cases where continual usage of a TRS cable with a XPS power box while still having batteries in the guitar can damage the guitars ability to draw power from batteries. If the guitar works correctly as it should when powered by the XPS box, then the problem is with the battery terminal not providing enough power to the guitar. You can contact a local Line 6 Service Center to see if they are capable of repairing your battery component on your guitar. You can find one in your area, using the link below:
