Used Bass PODxt Pro registration

I bought a used Bass PODxt Pro, but am unable to register it because it was registered by the previous owner. I can't use Line 6 Monkey until I register it.. is there a way to resolve this? A quick search didn't turn up any results that cleared this up. Any help is appreciated.. Thank you.
I'm guessing I am S.O.L...
You should still be able to register the gear right to your account. Are you getting any error messages when you try to do so?
Also, in Line 6 Monkey, you can hit the 'Remind Me Later' button to continue any updates through the software.

Thank youo for the response. When I try to register it, there is an error.. "An error occurred while processing your request. ESN could not be verified. Please confirm the supplied USN. ( Error: 523)".
Also (changing the subject a little), when I try to update the USB firmware (in Monkey), it says "Could not establish a connection to the Bass PODxt Pro. Please check all of your USB cable connections. If the device is plugged in, try disconnecting then reconnecting the USB cable." I have tried this several times with several different USB cables, and it still errors out. on the left there it lists "Connection" and "ESN", the ESN says Unknown. --I have been able to update the flash memory and drivers, but not the firmware. This all isn't really a big deal, but I am just curious if it can be fixed or not.
Thank you - Scott
The current version of Monkey 1.50 has a problem with recognizing and updating the USB firmware of the Bass PODxt devices along with the HD300 and HD400 units. I have opened a support ticket to resolve your registration problem. Please use the following link to view your support ticket:

Hi,
In Line 6 Monkey, is the ESN listed as a line of 0's under the hardware's icon?
Thanks,
David
