question about gearbox 3.72

I have GearBox version 3.72. I recently got a computer with windows7.I keep getting an error message DSP 80007104.GearBox 3.72 may not be compatable with windows7 I don't know???

    GearBox 3.72 is compatible with Windows 7, but it is hardware dependent when you try launching the program.

     

    What Line 6 USB device are you using? What USB driver version do you have installed on your Win7 host computer?

      drivers are listed as:

      drmk.sys

      ksthunk.sys

      L6TPortA64.sys

      portcls.sys

      I6pux1_x64.dll

      I6pux1.dll

      I am still having trouble running gear box with tone port ux1.Still get error message dsp 80007104.What ever I have tried lasts only one day.When I start up the next day I get error message dsp 80007104.Please help!!

      I would try a few different things until one of them works:

       

      1. Make sure that the drivers are up to date by looking at the versions in Line 6 Monkey. The driver names you posted are meaningless since they keep the same names from version to version

      2.  Try a different USB port (and DO NOT use a USB hub)

      3.  Completely uninstall Gearbox, reinstall it, and make sure the drivers are up to date by looking at them in Line 6 Monkey.

      4.  Install and try POD Farm 1.12, and then make sure the drivers are up to date in Line 6 Monkey.
