JAM1 - Mix1

Hi guys

We had a reasonable turn out for the first jam, with 4 people + me recording something.  unforetunately, 2 of those recordings were unusable because they were posted as a recording with the guitar part and backing track

But never mind... there's always next time.... and in fact they were all good jams, so weldone to all.

anyway here's the first take of the jam, which it not too bad.  there's a couple of parts in it that are questionable on the mixing and playing side, but with only 3 guitar parts to pic from, and also trying to give all players a fair hearing... overall I think it's a good jam

Matti plays the 1st part

I play the 2nd

donfrantz plays the 3rd

Matti plays the 4th

donfrantz plays the 5th

and I play the last part.

it's quite easy to tell the changes.

I will give it another go to get all the levels a bit better another day though.

Cheers

Rowbi

    Hey Rowbi:

Thanks for doing all that--a lot of work!.  I really like your ending.  Pretty tricky trying to mesh that all together. I appreciate the chance to jam with you guys--surprised not more entries, but I bet a I IV V blues jam will get everyone going. This one wasn't the easiest to do. But a great challenge, though my parts are far from perfect!  Thanks a lot.

    Hi Rowbi,

You've made a very good total mix.

It's not easy to mix tracks from a few jammers playing different guitar styles and sounds.  More jammers would have given you more tracks to choose from.

    Cheers,

    Matti

Great job, everyone!!!  I love these things.  I was too slow to get in on this one, but I'll try to shove my way into a future jam.

Rowbi, nice mixing -- I think you may have been a bit too modest with your own mixes -- you could've been a little louder.  Don't be so bashful!

    Again, nice work everyone!

    Cheers,
