I'm not 100% sure what you mean yet. Are you saying that your UX2 causes your computer to have a bad shutdown? Or reboot by itself?
Please let us know!
Hi Perry.
Firstly, thanks for your help....
below I send the answer for your questions.
I'm not 100% sure what you mean yet. Are you saying that your UX2 causes your computer to have a bad shutdown? Or reboot by itself?
R: No, Sometimes I´ve a shutdown in my computer with wrong process because all softwares don´t answer or because other problems...the UX2 don´t make a shutdown wrong in my computer....
So, when I have a shutdown wrong in my computer and restart him my UX2 back with very noises and bad sound.
What operating system software is your computer running, version number-wise?
R: Windows XP Profissional
Have you ever successfully run your UX2 without this problem in the past?
R: No, Since that I buy the device I´ve this trouble
How long have you owned the UX2?
R: 12/2008
Are you running the more current USB software driver?
R: Yes....
Did you try using all the other USB ports on this computer with the UX2 yet? What happens?
R: Yes, the same trouble....
I hope are clarified your doubts....
Thanks in advanced.
Fernando
You've owned this UX2 since 2008... in the past 3 years, have you ever tried installing the Line 6 USB driver on a completely different computer (not the one you're having problems with) and testing the behavior of the UX2 with that system? Does the UX2 affect the 2nd computer identically? Or does it function fine?
Hi,
Is there a loud "pop" when your computer powers off? If so, this is normal for ALL USB audio devices. It is recommended that you turn your speakers off before powering off your computer.
Thanks,
David

I think what he is saying is that after he has to reboot his computer (after another program causes it to freeze or reboot), the UX2 sound is messed up. I suspect he should uninstall, then reinstall the current USB drivers for the device.
+1 to fflbrgst,
You could uninstall/reinstall and see if it helps the issue.
Thanks,
David
