I recently purchased a Backtrack (without mic) to record my guitar and have experienced issues with the auto-record feature of the product. Whenever I connect this between my guitar and amp and start playing the device doesn't auto-record anything no matter how loud I play. I've used the software to adjust the sensitivity of the device in order to pick up quiet sounds but this didn't help either. I also carried out a hard reset several times and the auto-record feature still didn't respond. When I manually record by pressing the the two buttons together it works fine and records any sound that I play.

Can you suggest anything that I haven't tried yet?
