I received delivery of my JYV Variax and was ready to fire it up. However, the models and the alt tuning do not function. I charged and re-charged the battery. Four LED lights indicate the battery is fully charged. The cable to the amp is connected to the guitar--which through this forum I learned was a requirement for the guitar to function properly. The standard pictures operate fine and sound great. But the model knob does not light up. I don't know if the alt tuning dial lights up. But neither of them function. I do not know what else to try. There is no trouble shooting section in the manuel. I really don't want to fool with the electronics. Am I missing something really small that will make the guitar work?

Any suggestions? Thank you
