FBV Shortboard MkII & Pod X3 Pro - Control both tones with 1 switch?

Hi guys

I always have dual tones set up with my X3. Is there any way you can set up the FBV so that when you hit the Stomp, Modulation, Delay or Reverb switches, it turns on and off those effects for both tones? I know you can use the expression pedal to control both tones at the same time, but i cant see any instructions for example to turn on a stomp pedal for both tones at the same time.

Any ideas?

There's no way that I know of to toggle both sets of parameters for both tones in a Dual Tone patch. You have to toggle to each Tone and bypass/activate whichever of those parameters listed.

You have to have the most recent Flash Memory installed on your X3 Pro (2.10).

Then, press and hold the OUTPUTS switch for about 3-5 seconds. You'll have to enable the LP SW (Loop Switch/Function 1 on the FBV Shortboard MKII) to control the DUAL control for both TONE1 and TONE2.

The lower right two readouts should appear as:

    TONE1:          TONE2:

    DUAL             DUAL

    LP SW           LP SW

Now, Function 1 switch should toggle between Tone 1 and Tone 2 in a Dual Tone patch. Whichever active one is the one that STOMP, DELAY, MOD, etc. will bypass/activate.
