I can setup the hardware in protools to use the UX2 as the playback engine, but when I try to record anything or set any of the inputs to the built in line for the UX2 I get nothing but obnoxious static. It can record a signal which somehow the computer picks up, as the waveform clearly shows normal guitar playing levels, but the static just plays over top. The same thing happens in Logic as well. I am used to using Propellerhead Reason 6 and apparently DAWS have many more moving parts. If someone could help that would be appreciated. This is Pro tools 10 and am using a Mac OSX 10.7.3.
