Pod X3 Live only works on safe mode?

Hi, have a pod x3 ive and the problem is that i can't get a sound unless it is on safe mode or in tune mode, i have reinstalled the usb firmware, and the flash memory, but it doesn't work!

    How are you monitoring the sound? Try using headphones to test.

     

    Check the Inputs and Outputs settings to make sure that the physical input you are using is assigned to an active Tone, and that the Output(s) you are using are not muted.

     

    Also - and this one is a not likely but should be checked - make sure the Live Out level switch on the top of the X3  is clearly set to either AMP or LINE- not in the middle. In the middle it actually acts as a mute switch for the Live Outputs.
