Why HD 300 sound change doesn't work properly?

Hi,

why is it not possible to switch from one sound to the next without an interruption of the sounds? It always seems to change to some preset and changes than to the next tone. I've got a HD300 and work with a MacBook Air.

There is some delay because you are connected to your computer and using the Editor. Tis requires a data transfer to keep the two memory banks (HD300 and computer) in sync.

Disconnect the HD300 from your computer and the delay will disappear.

+1 to silverhead,

When connected to a computer the data transfer rate will sloww the unit switching between patches. This is normal. When you use the 300 as a standalone device this should disappear.

  since I usually play to songs from my computer I need it to be connected, is it enough to close the editor?

    Yes - simply closing the editor should eliminate the delay.
