POD registration

It is incredible that it is not possible to send a question to the Line6 and get an answer instead of having to send it to others who "might" have an answer. I think I'll buy from another company next time.
Anyway I'll try this.
I have an old POD I've updated from 1.0.to 2.0. The problem is I can't register the product. I've read the F.A.Q and from and as I read it is only POD 1.0 which can not be registered. What about me who have updated from 1.0 to 2.0? And what do I do if it can not be registered if I want to download anything.

You can call Line 6 tech support directly at the number you will find under the Contact Us button at the foot of this page.
You don't need to be registered to download software. As there are no licences attached to Pod2.0s then there is no need for the licence manager. All you can really use is Line 6 Edit available from the downloads section (top right of page).
The numbering convention of the serial number on POD 1.0 prevent it from being registered, even if the firmware is 2.0.
