Hi,

I am having a hard time getting consistent sound from my IV 30. Some days it sounds perfect, some days not so much.

My interpretation of the manual is that if I switch to a different amp model (e.g. switch from Blues Red to Metal Green) the new model will set all of the other settings automatically - Drive, Bass, Mid, etc.)   If I then manually change one or more of the other settings, it will override the default - until I either turn the power off, or choose a different amp model.

Is that correct?  Or do the other settings always impact the tone?
