Choose the 59 or the 69?

I'm planning to purchase a JTV recently, very interested in the 69 for the strat-ish feel and the thinner neck. However I keep seeing issues about

 

the quality problems with the 69(along with 59's problems about the switch and the knob), so it's really hard for me to make a final decision and I need

 

suggestions from you guys:)

    That is a question with many answers my friend. This who own the 69 will tell you that is the est and those like me will swear on the 59. They are both great guitars and ultimately they will give you tons of fun. Regarding knobs and defective parts, mine came I percale with everything in working order, I don't think you need to worry abou that.

    Please keep in mind that this support forum is where people come to report there problems with their gear.  You are less likely to hear about the many customers that have never had a problem with their gear and works great for them.  Whatever issues you read about on these forums represents a small percentage of the customer experience is taking all units into account.

    Hi their, Iv just bought the jtv 69 myself. I only had it for a few days and the modeling nob stopped working , it wouldn't switch on sent it back to Line 6 and they fixed it. I myself had herd all about the problems people were having with this model the modeling nob being one of them. but I still bought one and I can say hand on heart I am pleased I did, they are a really nice Guitar and as its already been mentioned there will be thousands out there that don't or wont have any problems. Hope this helps.
