how can i update my line 6 pod xt live???

can some one explain me how to imort tones to my pod xt and how to update my pod xt live.some amps are also missing from my pod xt like diamon plate amp and power and etc..so please reply as soon as possible.

you have to get line6 monkey to update it, connect to it over usb...
but you would also need to buy the model packs to unlock the additional amps, etc.

      and i would like to ask one more question.how can i import new tones which i download from custom tones to my pod xt live.i already have pod farm and line 6 monkey .so explain me briefly.once again thanks a bunch!!! u are a big help to me.

      hey is there any other way to get the model packs rather than buying tha model packs.and if i buy it.how can i see the ney amps in my line 6 pod xt live.

        you need to install gearbox to work with the tones on your XT.
        there is no way to get the model packs other than buying.
        the new amp names will be unlocked and available the same way as your current amps once you buy the packs and use the license manager to authoize the XT.

        you can record FROM your pod xt using audacity, which is free. I do it all the time. Just make sure you select your line 6 device as the input device. It is easy and sounds great

        please don't use audacity... there are plenty of good programs out there... get a trial version of mixcraft if you want easy and you're willing to pay a little.
