I asked this before but I didn't get a great deal of help, so I thought perhaps it's best to move it here.

Long story short, I get this increasingly growing fizz when I record in Logic, however it does not play back to me during the actual recording. It's pretty much gathered that it's not the patch so.. does anybody have any ideas?

I am recording via USB from my HD 500 and straight into Logic.

Also, a side track of a question but can anyone tell me what's better for metal? POD HD 500 or POD HD
