Yes. Can you list details of the rest of the equipment that you're using and how it's set up?

I think it's highly unlikely that your V30 is the problem here.

If you're moving from listening to monitors to listening to FoH (which has been delayed for time alignment purposes) that is one possible explanation but even then a 1s delay is huuuge.

If a straight swap of the V30 for a different radio mic solves the problem, it sounds a lot like you have a faulty unit (although to be honest I struggle to see how any kind of fault could produce a 1s delay). With a big delay is certainly not how they normally work. I'd suggest getting in touch with your retailer and getting it replaced.

Does this delay suddenly happen - as in you're fine up until you take one step more and suddenly there's a full second of delay or does it come in gradually and vary depending on how far away you are?

I think you'll have to post up a video of this in action as I really can't see how it's even possible for that to happen.

He is incorrect with respect to delay.  The latency is fixed and there is no way it can change.  If the mic is making sound then the latency is fixed at about 4ms.  If you are getting more delay than this something else is causing it.  There is no circuitry in the V30 that could make longer delay possible.
