Djent Tone (FINALLY!!!!)

Since I got the POD, I have been creating tones for people and for myself, stumbling upon many "secrets" that the POD holds and learning all of the intricacies of the amp models and effect models.  Everything is modelled incredibly well, but there are some aspects of the Direct tone that has been bothering me...

The ability for the POD to sit in a mix properly has been one of my main concerns...

I have also been searching for a djent tone since i've gotten the unit two years ago.  My efforts to create a good djent tone were useless, no matter what i tried, there was something about the midrange and bass that didn't allow for a great djent tone.  If I can describe the sound, other than "djent," it would be "swoosh."  The bass response isn't "swooshy" enough, it doesn't chug or djent well.  (Sorry if my explaination is bad)

So my friend emails me claiming to have "Found the tone," one that I previously thought was made specifically for the AXE FX...

And then I load the tone...

A few days later, a couple of tweaks, and a recording, and I really think we have found the elusive Djent Tone we've been searching for.

The main tone is called Passenger (based on a Periphery song) and i think it really captures the sound of songs like Passenger and Insomnia, using the Engl model.

The tone entitled "Light (Recto)" is the same patch with the rectifier model, which really increases the chug and makes for great rhythmic played (like Icarus lives and Light)

The final tone is "djent Bogner," which is the same tone, but with the Bogner model.  It gives the "passenger" tone more depth and resonance...

I also recorded a song for you guys! Periphery lovers, try to guess what it is
