Spider IV 75 Foot Switcher or can I use a clean channel with distortion? Lots of questions here.

I have a spider IV 15 and a Spider IV 75. I was wondering if there was a foot switch available to switch between Clean and metal channels. Also, I was wondering what settings I should use on my Spider 15 watt so I can use it on the clean channel, then use my Boss DS-1 distortion pedal to make it sound as if it's on the metal channel, sort of like a footswitch. Thanks for the feedback.
