Have a left handed variax 500, have had various troubles with it but this last one has me stumped. When I turn on my guitar not all pickups work straight away. As an example I just turned it on, only high e and B string working, leave it on for a minute and the A and D strings work, low E sounds odd like it's not quite there. Another minute low E is working fine, but the G string still isn't. I can't see it being a problem with the individual piezo's sending info, (apart from maybe the G, which I'm gonna try the staple trick on), it seems more like they aren't initally getting power.

I'm actually running it through the 9v connector from a power block atm, as I have all kinds of trouble with running it from the floor pedal.

Any ideas what might be causing the problem?
