Sorry,no.  Trails will work within a preset but are always cut off hard when you change preset..  The only way around this is to use a separate delay/reverb in the FX Loop and use the 'trails' option in global settings to keep the FX Return on.    It is an often requested feature here.   Please feel free to join the outcry if you want to at the link here.
