head phone use?

I don't see where I am supposed to hear anything from my guitar through my headphones of my HD300, and I don't . I see where others say they are listening to there guitar throught the phones for play back.

I hear nothing. Any guessess as to what's wrong? The phones work on my stereo.

Do you hear anything when you plug the Pod into an amp or similar?

  If you mean do I hear throught the phones when the HD300 is plugged into an amp. I don't know. Is that what most people are doing? Plugging it into an amp and then listening through phones? I shall give it a try but I wanted to mod tones at my desktop without an amp.

I fixed it. It was from a bad factory reset. I guess I hadn't calibrated the volume pedal correctly.
