Favorite wah?

Oh and I would like to know people's favorite wah's on the HD 500!

I can't seem to find one that has a good growl/quack (Think Voodoo Chile intro.....)

I place them in front of the entire chain, before any overdrive.

    i think i use the custom chrome for my voodoo chile patch.  either that or the last one.

     

    FWIW, i have a morley bad horsie that i use for most wah tones, so I don't use the onboard effects very often.

    I've tried all the wahs and the vetta wah is my favorite.  Back the mix down to around 60% and you're ready to go.

      Stratchamp, thanks a lot!

       

      Actually, I've overlooked the Vetta Wah, maybe 'cause I wanted to "believe" in the more vintage models.....?

      You're right, backing off the mix a bit with the Vetta seems to give me that mid-growl that I was looking for. That quacky break-up point in the middle of the pedal sweep, right before it goes into the treble area!
