POD HD and Seymour Duncan JB's, clipping?

Hello,
I'm running a Telecaster Custom with the JB as its bridge pickup through the POD HD. It's obviously a hotter output pickup and I'm kinda curious as to whether it could cause clipping on the POD HD. I ran it through my Scarlett 8i6 and it clips during moderate-hard strumming. Does anyone here with the similar setup experience this clipping problem? Would love to hear workaround or tweaks on this.
Best,
Irfan
You can lower your pickup height to reduce output. Don't consider only the pod, it should match for all devices.
The output level of your pickups will directly change your sound and you will have to correct your presets and amp settings.
i have a JB in my guitar, and i've found that to get a pristine clean tone i had to lower the pickup considerably.
there's a 3.4 mm space between the top of the low-E screw and the bottom of the low E string.
i think it sounds better further away
hope this helps
I have a JB in the bridge running Pretty hot and close to the strings, No clipping! My guess is that you could be clipping the Scarlett 8i6.
there's many kinds of clipping you can get in the Pod other than input clipping:
