Hi guys,

It's probably a little late for warranty on this Amp sadly, but having a major issue and wondered if anyone had experienced something similar.

It's for the line 6 210 spider II (now discontinued) model – http://line6.com/legacy/spiderii210

Basically, if I try to change the leftmost knob, "Amp Models" ( http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e43/bobmello/Line6SpiderII210StereoAmp003.jpg ) the lights on this knob start flashing and scramble in no particular order, resulting in a gurgling sound. It is impossible to set an amp tone using this knob and I have to settle for the factory preset buttons on top.

I'm not sure of the cause of the issue, although the amp was at my parents house for some time, and cables and straps etc. were possibly placed in the bottom layer of the back cabinet for storage, I wouldn't know if this would have an effect on anything magnetic possibly?

The only solutions I can gather (not related directly to this issue) are a factory reset, which I will try when back from work today, but the amp settings have never been changed from factory settings.
