Spider Valve 112 - Residual noise after palm muting power chords

Hey Everyone,
Quick question that hopefully is easy to answer.
I've noticed recently that if I palm mute power chords that have negative space after them (ie not constantly riffing) then I get residual ringing sound.
I'm wondering if this is a tube problem as I haven't replaced them in about 12 months and I've gigged with the amp quite regularly during that time.
I am using a Petrucci EBMM 7 string through a Spider Valve 112 and presets such as Meshugga and Blue Powder. Now while I know that these 'Insane' patches are high distortion - I don't remember this happening in the past. I am looking to record soon with this amp and this is not desireable!!
I'll have attached an example.
Thanks,
Sam

Make sure any reverb is turned off and you could maybe try turning up the noise gate a little bit.
Also if you are doing that chugging type of rythm with quick stops you'll want real short delay times if any.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
