got a Midisport UNO now- and see- it works. its extra for Line6 issues !!!!!!

But I guess it was not Monkey, it is the Line6 editor that im using..

A bit disappointed, as it is not the software that edits the patch, its the other way round!

You must tweak the unit itself to get its result reflected by the software....

I even started to think of why i then needed the software for....

???

(i remember Sounddiver being different)

there is still lots of tweaks that i dont know how to get out of the hardware.

Thought that would be the job of the software..!

But i can at least see how high or low the knobs are when selecting a patch on the unit. That helps somehow..

btw: do you know how to set the tap tempo so that a button of my midi controller does it the way expected?

Normally, you press the button twice, just like a sustain pedal but here, i set it like i have to press the button, wait till the next beat and release the button-. ive got the Behringer FCB1010 board with UNO firmware which is capable of setting stomp box or momentary behavior. I tried as a momentary switch.

Also there is no way to get out of the tuning mode except selecting a patch...ooops....dont want a patch, i want back to where i came from when finish tuning...

any thoughts?

Its one of the first ones, but i upgraded the chip.

I would not let its firmware being updated any further, as the next one is not capable of the delay being continued until its end repeat when selecting another patch. I find this very useful and musical.

and indeed as well i mixed up Monkey - Editor -- !

thought that Monkey was the editor, so this thread is filled with misunderstanding, sorry.

In general, i had the unit in the box for years, i have lots of other gear to use, but now i am coming back to it with deeper editing for a particular project..

I  will even try a POD XT to see if it can make me even happier.....
