How do I power my JTV-59?

I need to know which Line6 POD units I can use to power my new JTV59 with the VDI cable and where I can get instructions on how to do so correctly/safely.

    Not really complicated at all.  HD500, HD Pro, XT Live, X3 Live (not sure about Xt or X3 Pro) will all power JTV via the VDI cable.  Battery is optional.  Make sure that Variax is included as one of the inputs in your presets.

     

    BTW, while the VDI cable is, at heart, and RJ45 ethernet cable, do not substitute an ethernet cable for the VDI.  The Neutrik connectors on the VDI make for a much more stable and safter connection for both the Variax and the POD.
