POD XT - Display is flashing - no function

Hello community.

I hope someone cn help me with this problem.

When I turn the unit on the display is just flashing. No functions.

No connection to Monkey possible. Save mode does not work.

I hope someone can help me.

how did you attempt to enter safe mode? is the power supply correct?

  HEy toneman, thanks for your reply.
  
  I tried holding down save + edit - then turn pod on.
  
  And I tried prterssing the left button under the display and then turn pod on.
  
  I use the original power adaptor SY-09299A_GS european version
  My first feeling said it could be the power supply but I hope someone can give mor evidence to that befor I buy a new one.

    do you have access to another p.s.? can you go to a music store and ask to borrow one? since you have a euro version, i assume you're in europe. you can check the voltage output with a volt meter, 12 volts ac. the mains voltage should be at 220 volts ac.
