"no line 6 device connected" Spider valve mk2 212

Hi, hope someone can help.

Downloaded spider mk2 edit connected peddles to mac via USB but it says "no line 6 device connected" my peddles show that something is connected. But cannot do anything with the software. Have tested USB lead and it is fine.

    Assume you have downloaded and installed Spider Monkey already.  Have you updated controller pedal firmware?  Disconnect the amp from the FBV first (do you have the Express Mk II or Shortboard Mk II?) and do this.

    If Monkey does not recognize that the FBV is connected, you may need to uninstall all the software, delete all the Line 6 software from yout computer (even when you uninstall it, files remain), then try again.
