iPad mini / lightning connector working with MobileIn? Yes!!!

Hi all!

 

I'd like to buy the new iPad mini. It has the new lightning connector (same as the new iPad 4th gen.)

There is a adapter cable available, but i'm not sure if it works.

 

Anyone tried it out yet?

    I would liked to have seen a response of some sort from a line6 support rep!

    Hoping to get an iphone5 very soon and would like to know if this product is going to be supported.

    I bought mobile in and the lightning to 32(whatever it is) adapter. for iphone 5.

    The signal goes in but there no sound coming out of the speaker but it works with headphones only!!!

     

    Unless line6 releases an update I'm not recommending it.

     

    I can only use it with my ipad 2 but it seems like a bit of a let down really.

    Hi!

     

    I've also bought the lightningmadapter and tested it with an ipad mini. It works wonderful!

    With headphones and with the integrated speakers. No delay at all.

    We're happy to be able to say that Mobile In works fine with all iOS devices that use the new Lightning connector, via the Apple branded Lightning to 30 pin adaptors (both the dongle version and the cable version).  This includes iPhone 5, iPod touch 5G, iPad Mini and iPad with Retina Display (AKA iPad 4). 

     

    Just remember that the Line 6 Mobile POD app works best if you make all your cable connections to the iOS device -before- you launch the app – don't change them while the app is running.  That can lead to a situation where the audio output signal isn't being fed anywhere ––  not to the speakers and not to the 1/8" headphone output on the iOS device.  If you run into that situation, you can unplug the Mobile In from the 30-pin connector and then plug it back in again, and that should correct the audio output routing. 

     

    With iPhone 5, using the 4-conductor earbuds that come with the phone can interrupt Mobile POD's audio routing as well, and the fix is the same: unplug the Mobile In from the 30-pin connector and then plug it back in again.
