I really like my JTV-89, especially when plugged into the HD500 and DT25. I can't help but wonder why there isnt a built in tuner, since the guitar has a dual-core computer inside. Seems like it would have been a simple inclusion.

As I often play the JTV without the POD, it would be really convenient to have a built in tuner, rather than a clip-on or plug in.

Has anyone tried the Shadow SH-HBTFT-BK (http://www.amazon.com/Shadow-SH-HBTFT-BK-Humbucker-Frame-Guitars/dp/B005SUXMEI/ref=pd_sim_sbs_MI_2)

Or the N-Tune (http://www.amazon.com/N-Tune-Humbucker-OnBoard-Chromatic-Guitar/dp/B001RFBCS6/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1353725593&sr=1-1&keywords=N-Tune) in their JTV guitar?

Would probably void the warantee.

Any experience would be helpful.
