Pod HD 500 sounds very treble

Hi all!

I´ve got a problem with my HD 500 since I bought it, and I can't find how to solve it.

The problems is that all the distortions sounds very, very treble and like...ugly. With clean sounds and effects (delays, chorus, etc.) sounds good, but distorted is horrible.

I'm connecting to the amp by line in (with any amp), and it happens with and without amps emulators...To use a distortion I have to quit treble of my guitar with his own knob, but losses bright.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance!

Juan

What is your Output Mode setting for the HD500? Make sure you are using one of the Live modes, and try experimenting with different ones based on the type of amp you are using. Also experiment with the associated tone controls.

See Setup: Output Options. For more details see manual page 2-8.
