I just have to...

...post how extremely pleased I am with purchasing my JTV guitar.  With an 18 month old, I rarely get time to sit down and really dig into it, but the Wife took the kid to G'ma & G'pa's house for Christmas cookie baking day and I'm crankin' the crap outta my JTV69S > HD500 > Mark V > 4CM system and lovin' every minute of it.  Excellent work by the Line 6 people.  Congrats to you all.

I'm one of those people who really couldn't believe this setup would work, but took a jump and am super happy I did.  Anyone questioning the videos and if all they show really works, feels good and all the other crap...don't.  It all does and more...at mind-numbing levels, I might add.

There are tons of posts within this forum and others with mixed reviews, technical perspectives, what have you...however, I really wanted to write a simple, "WOW!!! It really works!!!" post and hope there are many willing to add on with their excitement and simple playing experiences.  I have yet to get this system into a performance environment, however, I know it will be an amazing asset and tool when the opportunity arises.

Again...well done Line 6.  Congrats and Thank You!

    Re: I just have to...

I bought 2 x JTV59's over a year ago and they get used weekly in a live environment.

I tune to normal tuning but we play in Eb and I use about 5 different sounds without a problem.

I traded in a Gibson Les Paul Standard and Yamaha SG2000 and never regretted it, easily the best guitars I have bought in 42 years of gigging (I'm 54).

This is the band I play guitar with and I'm in the middle - http://www.mistreatedrock.co.uk
