Bunch of sudden issues with pod farm/UX1

My UX1 was working perfect but few days back it started acting weird, gives clipping sound when m playing guitar through it or even just playing some tracks. which is exactly how it behaves when i connect to my other older laptop because its kinda slow. Plus there is some kind of residue noise which starts to appear whenever there a windows or system sound, after that i have to relaunch pod farm to make it go away but then it reappears.
Also earlier my system used to route all the sounds for eg. media players and web browsers thru ux1 whenever i would connect it to my laptop but now i have to relaunch the application to get the sound via ux1.
Could this have somthing to do with my laptop??? if yes then is there some way to identify that. I'm in middle of a recording project n this is really annoying. plz help...
Have you run the newest version of Monkey to install updates?
Thanks for the reply
both are up to date moneky 1.62 and pod farm2 2.55 although i dnt have gear box and pod farm. Plus one more thing i've noticed that in my DAW sometimes it always shows high output on the track on which i am recording, but when I play to record there is nothing. Then again i have to either relaunch the rod farm or deselect n select UX1 as my primary sound device on the laptop to make it work again. Let me know if any other information is required...
New development : whenever i launch POD farm evrything else goes mute...moment i end it evrything works again but i have to relaunch these applications.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
