Did i destroy my amp? :(

hi

i have a line 6 spider 4 amp 75w.

i recently tried connecting it to my computer via internet cable which as a cat-5 cable (straight to my computer)

which now i know is a big mistake!!

my amp smells like something is burning and

when i turn it on it just makes crackly sounds.

The display screen lights up but nothing shows on it.

Did i destroy the amp or is there a fuse or something that has blown?

any help would be great.

because i am in a country where there is know line 6 service centres.

You could try a factory reset - hold the 'A' button in while turning on the power, hold it in for 5-8 seconds.  If this does not work, then the only thing you can do is send it to a service center.  Unfortunately, you have probably damaged the digital signal processing unit.
