  i don't think it works that way... although you could probably use an external input and come out of the mixer into the ipad... not thinking thats what you were looking for...

    I've worked out I can send the whole mix as one channel but was hoping I could have separate tracks! I'm guessing from what I've seen everyone ask is that all the iPad can do is control it not record to it

      that's my understanding, although you can move the SD card to a PC or MAC and get the seperate tracks to do the mixing that way.
